Bright Shadows

This project investigates the relationship of apertures within a structure to light and shadow. This studio project was an exploratory process in which the relationship between 3 dimensional models and 2 dimensional drawings was analyzed. Abstraction of shapes and forms were key concepts during the iterative process, helping to create a family of models and drawings that all relate to one another. The resulting model implements a multitude of apertures within the structure, which will cause a dappling of light when viewed properly.
